Biography - Dr Helen Fry

Historian and biographer Dr Helen Fry has written over 23 books, mainly on the Second World War, with particular reference to the German refugees from Nazism who fought for Britain. Her books include: The M Room: Secret Listeners who Bugged the Nazis; Churchill's German Army; From Dachau to D-Day; Inside Nuremberg Prison, Freud's War, Hitler's Will, and German Schoolboy, British Commando.

Helen has appeared on television documentaries for ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and America's National Geographic Channel.

She has also been interviewed in national, international press and on radio. Helen regularly gives talks to various groups about her research.

She is an Honorary Research Fellow at University College London and teaches at The London Jewish Cultural Centre.
