Murder of Allied Airmen and Soldiers

Some transcripts of M Room conversations record details of the killing of Allied Airmen and Soldiers. These include stories of the shooting of RAF pilots after capture. This was in direct contravention of the Geneva Convention, which sets out how prisoners-of-war should be treated.

The transcripts also record information about atrocities committed against the civilian populations under Nazi occupation, including murder, rape and pillage. In their defence, prisoners claimed that they were only obeying orders.
